Mead Realisations

Land Proposal submitted

We are excited to say that Mead Realisations Ltd has submitted proposals to North Somerset Council for an Eco Village on land known as Haybow, on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare, which will provide 300 new zero carbon homes and commercial land which will create 600 jobs.
 
The Haybow Eco Village proposal includes an environmentally conscious EV charging station, a park and ride terminal, business units including start-up work space, a wellness centre and gym, a library, a nursery and a community centre. 
 
A new community cycle/pedestrian route will be built to link the existing edge of Weston-super-Mare to the Strawberry Line & surrounding countryside to encourage and enable active travel. 
 
The development will secure 600 new employment opportunities for local residents and provide them with a sustainable, eco-friendly place to live and work. 
 
The masterplan and vision for the site has been designed by award winning architects APG Architecture.
